‘I always try to take a break and focus on the positive aspects of life.’ - Getting to Know Alexis

Alexis, I love your naturalness. What do you love most about yourself?
What I like most about myself is my creativity and adventurous side. I love painting and drawing, and I also love the ocean and traveling.

How has your understanding of yourself changed over the years?
My understanding of myself has evolved over the years. I’ve realized that as I get older, I change and discover new aspects of myself.

What does happiness mean to you, and what are the little things that bring you joy?
Happiness for me means being at peace with everything and everyone around me. Little things that bring me joy are spending time with the people I love, my dogs, and being around nature, feeling like I’ve escaped from the world.

The series with Ben was shot on the beach. Does the beach empower you?
I wouldn’t say the beach empowers me per se, but rather it serves as a safe space for me. It’s one of the few places I can go to focus and relax.

How do you cope with life’s uncertainties and stay centered during challenging times?
I sometimes struggle with coping during challenging times or when faced with difficult obstacles. However, I always try to take a break and focus on the positive aspects of life.

What do you believe is the most important quality for maintaining meaningful relationships?
The most important quality for maintaining meaningful relationships is making time for those you value and consistently keeping in touch.

Do you believe in fate or that we create our own destinies?
That’s a difficult question to answer. While I believe there’s a plan for our lives, I also feel it’s up to us to choose the right paths to realize it.

Are there any dreams or goals you’ve set aside but wish to revisit?
I’ve always wanted to help rehabilitate wildlife, so I do hope that someday in the future I can help whether it’s opening my own wildlife rehabilitation center or donating to help rehabilitation centers. I also have always wanted to have some sort of fashion line so I do hope to have that one day as well.
