This is the second photo series by Frederick Fairytale featured on C-Heads. And once again, it’s clear that he is deeply in love with the styles of the 60s and 70s.
This time, the Berlin-based photographer set off for a trip to Paris. He explains, “I had never been there before and planned to photograph the local people and their culture, combining it with professional shoots. I used Instagram to search for models in Paris who matched my visual style. That’s when I found Loreen, so we arranged to meet for a casual stroll and shoot in Montmartre.”
And so we join the duo in an endearing series awash in warm, tinted colors. Loreen Thorez is Parisian, bubbly, spontaneous, and funny—a real ball of energy. Yet, it wasn’t always this way. Held back by her shyness, her school years were a struggle. It wasn’t until her parents recognized her talent that she gained the confidence to pursue her passions for a living. Comfortable on stage and radiant in various award-winning short films and professional commercials, she naturally knows how to strike a pose in front of the camera.
Frederick continues, “With shining eyes and an infectious smile, Loreen walks through the old stone streets, enveloped by the beauty of the past. The photographs capture how effortlessly she enjoys every moment and detail of this enchanting place. This is the story of a spontaneous connection between Berlin and Paris, and a shared journey of discovery through the magical and charming streets of Montmartre.”
