“I messaged Oliwia for the first time 8 months prior to our shoot, and fangirled when she responded. When I finally met her in real life, I remembered why I was even pursuing modeling in the first place. I met her and another model in Brooklyn and the three of us instantly hit it off; hyping one another up, jamming to our favorite music, already making future plans to see each other again. Oliwia and I shot a bunch of looks and shared similar ideas on what we thought was cool. I felt so comfortable with her, sharing intimate stories of our creative past and empathizing with one another about hardships in the industry. I love shooting with female photographers for this reason. She is a reminder that when women stick together, anything is possible. It was refreshing to leave a photoshoot feeling like I had just made a friend that would last a lifetime; way more important than any photos we could have gotten. <3”
