Nature is buried under a winter blanket. Snow crunches underfoot. It feels as if time itself has paused, standing still. A moment of quiet respite, as if the world is taking a break, preparing for what comes next.
In the stunning snowy landscape of Banff National Park in Canada, photographers Gareth Paget and Ellen Borglund have collaborated with model Summer Lilah from Mode Models International to create a truly beautiful photo story. This series draws inspiration from the nostalgia of bygone eras and the timeless elegance and sophistication of après-ski fashion, spanning the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. “We aimed to capture the nostalgic yet modern essence of Audrey Hepburn, infused with the glamorous, free-spirited ski fashion of the 60s, and the bold color palettes and exaggerated silhouettes characteristic of the 80s,’ they said. Set against the awe-inspiring backdrop of Banff National Park, where snow-capped mountains meet unspoiled wilderness, the series weaves a visually captivating narrative, blending vintage-inspired fashion with natural beauty.” Makeup done by Gill Gazdic and styling by Ella Mackenzie. Summer is wearing brands by Ganni, COS, Zara, Aritzia and Free People.
