“Perhaps in a parallel world, it is the promises that break us and not the other way around.
What comes after a goodbye? Do we truly know when a last kiss will be the final one?
“A Sunday of laundry and tending to the garden, accompanied by unanswered questions about love, with a random playlist of SZA.” describes photographer Alexander Tarazona his encounter with model Alana Soto, from which this wonderful series emerged in Bucaramanga, Colombia.
“She’s the kind of person you could spend hours and hours talking to. Those people who infect you with laughter and don’t feel strange, even if it’s the first time. The connection was immediate. Amidst laughter and stories of broken hearts, our sunny day came to an end.
For you, our two conclusions:
How ironic that we become sad when remembering happy moments! And the farewells that hurt the most are the ones that never happened.”
Alexander Tarazona also contributed to our newest C-Heads print volume 38. The issue delves into the art of slowing down, celebrates the joy of crafting, invites you to feel the freedom from society’s temporal constraints, and captures the alluring sentiment that everything looks more beautiful under the sun.
