Let’s start the day with the smooth, sensual sound and mesmerizing visuals of Berlin native Rosa Landers, whose musical influences range from Jazz, Blues, RnB, Soul, Motown, Meditation, film, and world music. Inspired by Berlin’s love languages and unfulfilled commitments, “Circle Line” invites the listener to dream and to look inward, underscored by the dreamy sequences in the video that was directed by Ananda. who explains: “Inspired by Rosa’s soulful voice and the lyrics “a hint of amazon”, I immediately imagined a warm, lush universe. But there is also a slight melancholy and unfulfilled longing in her voice. This gave rise to the idea for the music video. In a way, the video speaks of the strength and fragility of feminine energy represented by goddesses. The music video depicts a lavish picnic with goddesses, where everything is in abundance, and yet something seems to be missing. A never ending story…”
Like sweet honey, the voice of the talented singer resonates, encouraging one to pause and find calm. You don’t often hear a young voice that resonates so deeply, that it reaches right down and stirs something within you. But Rosa’s voice is different. It carries a weight of emotion that feels beyond anything you’d expect from her age. Every note she sings feels like a personal story whispered directly to you, a secret shared only between the two of you.
The entire project was produced by Brazilian producer and multi-instrumentalist Rafa Mura, also known as Shimizu, who combines his passion for analog and electronic music in his work and has already collaborated with artists such as Aka Kelzz, Ish, Devantier Rain, Cesco.blz, Moussa.s, and more.
