The Canadian photographer is currently self-publishing a photography coffee table book entitled “Everyday Africa“, detailing a five month overland journey from Cairo to Cape Town.
The difference between a self-portrait and a real shooting with a photographer is that there is no bashfulness. It’s only between myself and I. Sometimes it feels pretty weird because I am trying out strange things, but it’s an intimate moment with my own body.
“Since having recently moved to New York from Los Angeles, I find myself eager to meet new people, and be a part of new experiences. I feel fortunate that my interests in art and more specifically photography, have lended themselves to doing those things. I’m realizing the importance of really looking at things, and that, so far, has served me well.”

“Cloudy days on the beach can be quite nice when you get time alone with the sand and the sea. We were able to escape the LA crowds and commotion while have a relaxing day on the beach and shooting with Amber.”

Italy meets Russian style. This time Tatiana Mertsalova teamed up with the beauties Alina Avhadieva and Olga Kobzar for a shooting in the wonderful mountains of Italy. “We travelled from Russia to Italy to capture local beauty.”
Sergio del Amo met Vitalina Starchenko at a fashion show a couple of weeks ago. “I took a few pictures of her backstage. But I really wanted to portray her in a better setting so we just met up at this motel in the center of Bangkok.”
