Under the Apple Trees

Who doesn’t love the simple joy of lying beneath apple trees? The freedom of dancing in the rain, feet sinking into the mud, and the gentle touch of grass against your skin. We’re beyond excited to welcome the debut of the talented photographer Clover June on C-Heads. Together with model Kenzie Owen, they’ve created a stunning visual story, shot entirely on 35mm film at a picturesque farm on Vancouver Island.

A Summer’s Goodbye

“This photoshoot took place at one of the beaches of Cascais, Portugal—what I like to call the Portuguese Riviera. We aimed to capture the essence of a slow summer and the stunning scenery. It was inspired by a sense of nostalgia and An ode to fleeting moments and the magic they leave behind.

Simplicity and Silence

When you are calm and focused, everything often feels much simpler. But staying calm and focused is not always easy. Sometimes, it helps to put aside the things that distract you—like your phone—creating space for deeper clarity and presence. In this spirit, photographer Iris Cecilia has created a new series inspired by the stillness and simplicity found in Scandinavian life.

Golden Hour Dreams

“The editorial concept was inspired by and shot on the beautiful island of Cyprus in late summer. The beauty of nature shows us every day at sunset that time is limited and that change is the only constant. As the sun sets and the day transitions to night, the magical colors of the light and sky remind us of the passing of time and the natural shifts that accompany it.

Silent Waters

Being in nature is something elemental. It’s one of those things some people seem to forget, yet primality is an intrinsic part of our being—the ruggedness, the beauty of the wilderness. The sounds, the smells, they awaken all our senses in an entirely different way.

Smoke and Colors

Smoke and Colors is an ongoing series I started shooting in February 2022 and continued until August 2024. This series is different and far scarier for me to publish than any other series I’ve ever worked on. Not only does it expose the most private photographed moments from the past two years of my life, but it also reveals how beautiful it can be to showcase a completely raw and unplanned version of oneself.

Summer’s Over Interlude

This summer felt different from previous ones—for me, at least. I’m currently moving through a period of detachment, letting go of things I’ve come to cherish. It’s painful, but I hope to find freedom on the other side. Whether it’s the right path, I can’t be certain. Letting go of someone you’ve grown to love is perhaps one of the hardest things we face.

“Happiness is having time” A Moment with Micaela Morgado

“Happiness is having time to do activities that make me feel alive.” In a world that’s constantly on the go, having time is one of the greatest luxuries we can afford ourselves. This quote comes from Micaela Morgado, co-founder of Models Factory in Portugal, who has mastered the art of balancing a multifaceted career as a model, actress, and nutritionist.

Take Your Time

Life isn’t a race. Often, the stress we feel comes from comparing ourselves to others—where they are, or where we think we should be. There’s power in slowing down, taking things at your own pace, and simply being present. It’s about pausing, holding a flower, and appreciating the beauty of now.

How to Fly

We met by chance, just before she left for Mexico. Somehow, life always introduces me to people right before they’re about to leave. We think farewells are the end, but they’re just new beginnings. In that brief moment, we found the nearest hotel and started imagining a life that felt like it was ending before it even began.

Playtime Afternoon with Josie and Lealand

Let´s do a little trip back in time. Low-rise jeans, tank tops, ruffles, crop tops and fitted tees, platform shoes, all sorts of belts, hair clips, everything bejeweled, and many more fun details were all key to the 2000s fashion. While it might have felt over the top to some, we love it for the vibe of fun and playfulness it embodied through the outfits.

“An artist´s life.” The stories of the people behind the art #24 Eva Portis

My best friend Naaz immediately came to mind, as we’re both grown up women on the spectrum, who have found a home in each other’s quirks. We’re both curious about the world, the people in it and what drives them. We share the same smile and tears, whilst never giving up on our childlike playfulness. When we talk, words aren’t needed for understanding each other.

Into the Wild

“Not every shoot goes to plan, but often you can create something special by just being in the moment,” photographer Steve McKee tells us, featuring an incredible photoshoot with natural beauty Holly Lou.

Returning to Bali

“Returning to Bali after three years felt like coming home to a place where time stands still. One of my favorite places to shoot, this island holds a special place in my heart. It was an absolute joy to reunite with the stunning Primarista, capturing her radiance against the backdrop of a hidden beach, where jagged rocks meet the powerful crash of the ocean.”

Letting Happiness Flow

Give freely, from the heart. Let your offerings be an ode to the joy of giving, without the expectation of a return. If gratitude finds its way back to you, consider it a sweet bonus. But the true reward lies in the act itself. A smile, as simple as it may seem, can be a gift more precious than gold.
