A Fashion Story with Christen Harper
Jeffrey Chan teamed up with model Christen Harper of Wilhelmina LA and makeup & hair artist Chloe Schlossmann for this delicate Fashion Story. The Canadian photographer is currently self-publishing a photography coffee table book entitled “Everyday Africa“, detailing a five month overland journey from Cairo to Cape Town.

The difference between a self-portrait and a real shooting with a photographer is that there is no bashfulness. It’s only between myself and I. Sometimes it feels pretty weird because I am trying out strange things, but it’s an intimate moment with my own body.

“”Washed Up Hollywood” is a 35mm series of pictures I worked on over the course of a few months.” explains Los Angeles based photographer Dayne Malan. “I’d take my camera, stroll down to Hollywood Blvd and wait for moments when the characters get put on hold.”
