Los Domingos Pa’ La Playa

Toronto and Miami based photographer Daniel Cruz shares another wonderful series with us. This time he teamed up with beautiful muse Sarah Caamano of Elite Model Management Toronto. “Shooting by the beach came very naturally to me and Sarah. We both come from Latin backgrounds so it was nice to be able to enjoy a hot summer day in Toronto by the water and imagine we were on some tropical island off the coast of Colombia.”

Above the roofs of Barcelona

We love rooftops. In each city there are those places, hidden from below when walking the streets, and a whole new world opening up when entering them. Photo shootings on them therefore always have this special charme with the city only being vaguely perceptible. Two Year Vacation’s “Majored In Broken Hearts” takes you on a bittersweet feel-good journey

The five-piece band Two Year Vacation describes itself as a “Swedish band making delicious pop music” and this description could not be summed up better. Coming from a country where you get less hours of sun compared to more Southern countries and therefore probably quite some melancholical moments are bound to occur. London based songwriter and producer Runrummer drops a pixel art visual for “Nightcaller”

“I wanted to make a music video in person but, due to the pandemic, I had to think of a way to create something special remotely. I’m a big fan of pixel art and was inspired by the music video for ‘Move Your Feet’ by Junior Senior. I connected with Madrid-based pixel animator Apoonto and we hit it off straight away. Our goal was to create a playful game-boy inspired adventure which really vibes with the 80s aesthetic of the song.”
