Privacy Policy
Scope
This Privacy Policy informs users about the type, scope, and purposes of the collection and use of personal data by the responsible provider (see Imprint) on this website and its functions, content, and external online presences, such as our social media profiles.
Handling of Personal Data
Personal data refers to information that can be used to identify a person, such as their name, email address, or phone number. This also includes information about preferences, hobbies, memberships, or visited websites. Data processing is conducted only when legally permitted or with the user’s consent.
Legal Basis and Processing According to GDPR, TKG 2003
We process your data solely in accordance with statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). Here, we outline the key aspects of data processing.
Types of Processed Data
- Contact Data: Email, name
- Content Data: Text entries, photographs, videos
- Usage Data: Visited websites, access times
- Meta/Communication Data: Device information, IP addresses
Use of Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics for analysis and optimization (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Google collects data through cookies, which is typically transferred to servers in the USA. Google is Privacy Shield certified, which complies with European data protection standards. IP addresses are processed anonymously. Users can opt out by installing the browser plugin. Note: Google Analytics has been disabled on our website and is no longer in use.
Use of Facebook Social Plugins
This website uses social plugins (“Plugins”) of the social network facebook.com, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). These plugins are recognizable by the Facebook logo (a white “f” on a blue tile or a thumbs-up symbol) and are marked “Facebook Social Plugin.” For a full list of Facebook plugins and their appearance, visit Facebook Plugins.
When a page with such a plugin is accessed, the browser establishes a direct connection to Facebook’s servers. Facebook sends the plugin’s content directly to the browser, which embeds it into the website. Therefore, we have no influence on the extent of data collected by Facebook. According to our knowledge:
By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that a user has accessed the respective page. If the user is logged into Facebook, Facebook can associate the visit with their Facebook account. If users interact with the plugins, such as pressing the Like button or commenting, this information is sent directly to Facebook and stored.
Even if the user is not a Facebook member, Facebook may still store their IP address. According to Facebook, only an anonymized IP is stored in Germany. The purpose and scope of data collection and further processing by Facebook, as well as rights and settings for privacy protection, can be found in Facebook’s Privacy Policy. Users who do not wish Facebook to collect data and associate it with their profile should log out of Facebook before visiting this website.
Facebook social plugins can also be blocked with browser add-ons, such as “Facebook Blocker.”
Google+
Google+ is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). For an overview of Google+ plugins and their appearance, visit Google+ Plugins.
Our website uses buttons from Twitter, provided by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. The buttons can be identified by terms like “Twitter” or “Follow” and a stylized blue bird. These buttons allow sharing of our website content on Twitter or following us there. When a page with a Twitter button is accessed, a direct connection to Twitter’s servers is established. According to our knowledge, only the IP address and URL are transmitted, but not used for other purposes. For more information, refer to Twitter’s Privacy Policy.
Instagram is operated by Instagram LLC, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (“Instagram”). For more details on Instagram buttons and their appearance, visit Instagram Buttons.
Privacy Notices
To prevent Google, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram from associating data from our website with your profile, log out of these services before visiting our website. You can also block plugins using add-ons like “NoScript” (NoScript).

Our website uses cookies to improve user experience. Most cookies are “session cookies” and are deleted after your visit. Others remain until manually removed. You can configure your browser to notify you about cookies and allow them only on a case-by-case basis.
YouTube
This website uses the Lyte Privacy Plugin, which stores YouTube videos as preview images and does not load them directly from YouTube servers. Thus, no data is transferred to YouTube until the video is played. For more details, refer to the Lyte Plugin. Additional YouTube privacy information is available here: YouTube Privacy.
SoundCloud
Our website may contain SoundCloud links, which establish a direct connection to SoundCloud’s server upon clicking. SoundCloud stores IP addresses and may associate visits with accounts if logged in. We have no control over SoundCloud’s data processing. For more details, see SoundCloud Privacy Policy.
Google Fonts Privacy Policy
Our website uses Google Fonts from Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). No authentication is required, and no cookies are sent to the Google Fonts API. If you have a Google account, no account data is transferred. Google only stores CSS usage and fonts. More information: Google Fonts FAQ and Google Privacy.

” → Set “gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled” to “false”
Vimeo
Our website uses Vimeo components (Vimeo LLC, 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA). When a page with a Vimeo component is accessed, the browser directly loads this content. If logged into Vimeo, Vimeo may associate your use with your account. More details: Vimeo Privacy Policy.
